5 Ways to reduce your tension with music.

After the corona hit, people are experiencing a lot of grief in their life due to the trouble they are facing in their personal and professional life, which is leading them to depression, anxiety, panic attacks, emotional breakdown and what not. And because of all these things happening, the suicide rate has also increased by 70% since the pandemic.

So, after realising what type of problems depression is causing to a person, people started to work on themselves for the solution and some people have even undergone some therapies too, which would have helped them.

But I’m here to suggest to you one very interesting thing which will surely help you to come out from the grief you are suffering from and that is our most favourite thing “MUSIC”. Yes, you read it right. Music can save you from anything you are going through. It can help you process the grief you are facing. Most of you will think what rubbish is this and how music can help a person live a better life but trust me when I say this, there are many ways you can use music to relax. There is a saying, when you listen to music just after waking up in the morning, you feel cheered up, the whole day.

Music is the most relatable thing you can come across. Sometimes people find the lyrics related to their lives or their past and then they start listening to it on shuffle.

These 2 years have been tough on everyone and 3.8% of the population from the globe is having depression and if you are one of those who is suffering in silence and want to recover real soon then you can just sit on your bean bag and relax because this blog is going to give you the most satisfactory solution to your unbearable problem. You just have to scroll it down and chill!

  1. Dance on any party song.

Dancing- It is the most fun thing. And this is the best way to loosen up your body. Just free your muscles up and tap your feet on the beat. After just 10 minutes of dancing your body and mind will feel lighter than before because when we dance or workout our body releases a hormone called endorphins (basically a happy hormone, also called “feel-good” chemicals) which is a very good thing for a person who is suffering from grief. You can search for playlists like these online and you will get a high number of recommendations according to your taste. Just start your day by tapping your feet on the beats, it will help you to stay motivated all day.

  1. Listen to any relaxing song/music.

And for every individual the definition of relaxing music is different. Some people can find soothing music like Sufi songs or Romantic songs more relaxing but some people like solid music (rock, pop, etc) to relax. For example- I love listening to Indie-pop music to lift my mood up. Just go for any type of music which relaxes your mood.

Here I am going to mention some of the steps you can do while listening to the relaxing music to feel more relaxed:

  • Set the mood. Get a cup of coffee and sit in the favourite corner of your house and lose your body.

  • Now, play your music

  • Then just close your eyes and feel the music

  • After you start feeling relaxed, take a deep breath for 5 secs and then release it.

  • Do this step again

  • Now, relax your neck and shoulders.

  • Take another deep breath and hold in for 10 secs and then release it.

  • Do this again

  • Now just relax your muscles and your eyes

  • And focus on all the good things around you.

Tip: While exhaling, release all the stress you are having and clear your mind out.

  1. Sing the song you love the most.

This is my most favourite step as I love signing. And I know most of you love to sing too. And you know, doing the thing which you love can really help you come out from the sorrowness you are facing.

Singing is Aerobic, in that it is a form of exercise that improves the efficiency of the body’s cardiovascular system, with related benefits to overall health. Aerobic activity increases the oxygenation of the blood, which also improves overall alertness.

  1. Make your playlist and remake it every month

Create a playlist. A playlist which will have all the songs you love the most.

When we were stuck at home during the pandemic, I created my playlist with all the trending fun songs of the year and I used to listen to it everytime, while brushing or taking a hot tub bath or even while washing my scooty.

And if you are thinking how to create one, you just have to install an app called “Spotify” from the app store or play store and then register your account and now you are ready to create your own playlist. Also, I’m suggesting you to change your playlist every month as by doing this you will never get bored of the songs and also our taste in music changes with time.

  1. Music therapy

Yes, music therapy. Let me explain it to you first !

Is church believes earth is flat: Galileo's death

Today virtually every child grows up learning that the earth orbits the sun. But four centuries ago, the idea of a heliocentric solar system was so controversial that the Catholic Church classified it as a heresy, and warned the Italian astronomer Galileo Galilei to abandon it. On April 12, 1633, chief inquisitor Father Vincenzo Maculani da Firenzuola, appointed by Pope Urban VIII, begins the inquisition of physicist and astronomer Galileo Galilei. Galileo was ordered to turn himself in to the Holy Office to begin trial for holding the belief that the Earth is round and revolves around the sun, which was deemed heretical by the Catholic Church. Standard practice demanded that the accused be imprisoned and secluded during the trial. This was the second time that Galileo was in the hot seat for refusing to accept Church orthodoxy that the Earth was the immovable centre of the universe: In 1616, he had been forbidden from holding or defending his beliefs. In the 1633 interrogation, Galile...
